This app is a complete disaster. I’ve attempted to use it multiple times, and without fail, every single profile I create gets blocked for “impersonation” – an accusation that’s not only false, but entirely unjustified. I’ve followed every single step, completed every challenge, submitted every required photo, and still get banned for no legitimate reason. What makes this worse is the apps customer support. Messages go unanswered for days, sometimes weeks – if they even respond at all. There’s zero accountability, zero transparency, and zero willingness to help users who are wrongly penalized. At this point, I’ve gone through the process so many times, I could be a moderator – which is ironic, because the moderators currently in place seem completely unqualified for the job. Their inability to distinguish between genuine users and actual impersonators is laughable, if it weren’t so frustrating. The system is broken, the support is nonexistent, and the moderation is an embarrassment. Save yourself the trouble honestly at this point

This app used to be more useful. They keep putting features that were free behind a paywall and degrading the actual functionality of the app - unless you pay up. This is the new economy - reduce functionality until the suckers start paying for some basic functional services. The new economy capitalists seem to be more blood sucking vampire squids with their funnels dug deep into your wallet!

It keep saying connection error but every other app working just fine I deleted and waited a week and its still saying connection error

No way to limit the notifications spam. If you only want to be notified about incoming messages and waves, too bad: there’s no way to shut off the constant barrage of ads in their notifications other than disabling the app’s notification access entirely, which is what I’ve had to do. Just obnoxious behavior.

Total junk don’t waist your time with it

Wish they would bring back the option to change your location. There are cool people then there are stalkers. So really miss that feature. For that I give it 3 stars.

This new update with the profiles are not cool at all it reminds me of Grindr i preferred the original format because it’s unique to Jack’d I hate the message feature now because I’d rather go straight to the thread just in case you have exchanged messages before

They suspended my account talking about I was under age, and I was literally 19

The app support mods ignore people who are plus size or in the porn industry aka well known when they violate policies but ban users who may have nice bodies and don’t link with everyone on the app. It’s very indicative to the community itself MESSY

They blocked my phone all because someone god mad because I didn’t want to send them nasty pictures back So now I can’t make a account on nether of my phones

App is buggy, glitchy, and crashes often. The site admins enforce their policies inconsistently across the user base with many uses being allowed to post any photos they want while others have theirs removed within minutes of being uploaded. Reporting has no impact. Don’t recommend

When someone doesn’t like that I’m not interested, they keep reporting my profile, causing unnecessary issues. I reached out to Jack’s support team about this, especially since I’m a paid subscriber, but there hasn’t been any action. It’s frustrating because it feels unfair to be reported without reason, especially when it restricts my ability to use the app. I hope they improve this process, as users shouldn’t face restrictions due to baseless reports.

Pros: inexpensive premium option -many options to find matches - easy to use Cons: under age users on platform -Users claiming to be from your region but on different continents -immature people who never message back (not even “not interested”) -Users who chat once then never again -many looking of hookups only -if you have a few extra pounds don’t even try, many judge on physical looks

Total joke. It says need to upgrade in the app but in the apple store it’s already updated and ready to be opened. Unfortunately the the don’t cooperate together.

If the coders can't figure out how to remove obvious bots now with profiles with one line descriptions that all sound the same with one photo, once AI is creating profiles this app will be useless.

I recently got On Jackd and I’m having meaningful convos until the one guy gets in my inbox asking for photos and I refuse obviously. Then he starts making threats which clearly my go to is to send the 988 hotline because he clearly needs help then all of a sudden I’m suspended after him saying he was going to report me. Like literally what type of nonsense does this app condone. This beyond crazy to me.

They closed my account saying that I was under age and never even gave me the chance to verify it. I cant even make a new one. They some weirdos

So before I subscribed the app would not work every now and then…now 2 hours after subscribing I am unable to login. The application is trash. Try another app, don’t even waste your time on this one…if you do use this app DON’T SUBSCRIBE

Customer service is poor. They really don’t help. It glitches. When blocking ppl they always miraculously come back. It needs work. A lot.

Why are profiles discussing DoxyPeP suspended for “pnp drug” wording but profiles for bud, shrooms, and ice/snow allowed to stay? Also why are some profiles showing the full butt allowed but others suspended? I don’t understand the bot used for this app.

The app hasn’t been working all day. I deleted it and redownloaded it. Still not working. I submitted support request and I have not received a response as of yet. This is disappointing. Please fix this and respond to my ticket. Thank you

This app was co but once it wanted me to buy a subscription to see messages that was already sent was unexpected like how are you gonna charge me to see messages that was already sent so not used this app it’s a scam and not worth it most people on there are 40+ year old creeps and this app lowkey needs to be taken down if they don’t fix there problem with charging people for unnecessary stuff jackd do better

I love love love this app and I pray that it remains a safe space for LGBTQ people of color. I pray they never white wash this app in efforts to appease white gay men as this is the only app that I feel safe on. In fact, I’d love to see a bit more restrictions as certain folk only come on the app to fetishize black men. Apart from that, I LOVE THIS APP

Words cannot express how incredibly frustrating it is to use this sub par app. I created a profile, purchased the pro version, then tried to use it and realized none of my messages were being transmitted. I submitted numerous service requests and no one responds. So I had to reach out to Apple to get a refund. I get my money refunded and then my device is subsequently suspended from the app. I do not get it. Customer service is absolutely terrible. No one responds, but YOU get punished for requesting your money back. If this is how apps are created for gay people of color, then its better to just go to grindr instead.
